You’ve worked a hard job for many years, and you deserve the treat of paradise.

Real Estate.
The Dominican Republic has some of the lowest prices in Real Estate, the best value in the Caribbean. Many bargains can be found all around the island. You could buy a Condo or Villa for $100,000 or less. And rentals could go from $500-$1500 or more, depending on where you would like to live.
CSS Real Estate will also give you a safe & loyal buying process, with all the correct paperwork, that will leave no issues left behind.

Stability.
It’s a land with a safe & stable government, and economy.
Expat Community.
We have expats from all around the globe that relocated to the Dominican Republic. Therefore, you can find many amenities, services, and cultures similar to yours around. There will be no “culture shock”. Halloween, Thanksgiving, and other holidays are also celebrated here. After all, the country was discovered by Europeans, which already gives the island a lot of influence and culture from way back.
You will never be lonely, it easy place to make friends and fast with our wide range of expat community.
Temperature.
We know and have met a few people who moved here because of the temperature, it makes one feel better and healthier. Getting more sunlight will give the body Vitamin D keeping bones strong, motivated to exercise and not reduced to few sports, good for feeling happy, they say it also improves one’s memory, and it’s better for the heart and lungs. More info on: http://inspiyr.com/warm-weather-is-healthier/ . The warm climate is good for one’s health believe It or not. And besides that, who can resist white-flour like sandy beaches, turquoise water, tropical palms, and the calming sound of the waves?
Infrastructure.
Many airports can be found in the Dominican Republic, many with direct flights where you want to go. Many new roads have been made to cut a journey from 6 hours to only 4 or less.
Retiree Residency.
The government is welcoming foreign retirees, who can prove a monthly pension of $1500, plus $250 for each person who is joining, and it can all be done in 45 days. In other countries this could be more difficult in which you need to qualify for benefit, perks, and tax breaks.
Low Cost Lifestyle.
With this being said of a pension of $1500, you could live like a king/queen in the Dominican Republic with that amount. This includes, water, electricity, internet, rent, groceries.
New Hobbies.
You are never too old to learn new things, such as learning Spanish, learning to cook Dominican food, or learn to dance salsa/merengue/bachata or practice a new sport, ect. “Every day you learn something new.” You could have great joy in your new practice, and it will definitely be worth it.
Health care.
You can find hospitals and clinics around Cabarete, Sosua and Puerto Plata. However, we would recommend Puerto Plata, out of all options. And Santiago, for 1 and half hour drive, if it something rather serious. Doctors are reliable & helpful, and some even speak English. Some foreigners even come to the island to get their teeth done, because it has a lower cost than back home.
You could pretty much buy anything but very strong drugs (ex. Morphine) over the counter in the Dominican Republic, without needing a doctor to give you a prescription.
Health insurances are not very expensive in the Dominican Republic, the best one you could get would probably cost $45-$50 USD.
Employment.
You could have a full-time maid, gardener, nurse, chef, or a chauffeur on a low costing budget.
Health Living.
With all the freshness of fruits and vegetables that you can find here, you can definitely have a healthier eating pattern. And there will probably some fruit you find here that you’ve never seen before but that taste amazing, and that do miracles, for example the fruit guanabana.
Or the fresh, right of the Atlantic or Caribbean Sea, fish, lobster, shrimp.
Also, to get yourself moving, there are many gyms that can be found, or Zumba and yoga classes for a reasonable price.
